father's prospective visit, furniture and washing-up

Still don't know about work. This thing is dragging.

I am a bit worried; my father is coming to stay with us soon and he is so heavy. Mr said he doesn't know where we will be able to put him comfortably. I can easily imagine that he will break a chair - I've seen him do it before. It's funny, but not when it's my hard-earned furniture!!

Of course, it is not all my furniture but Mr's as well. Which makes it doubly complicated and could lead to lots of arguments.

I had to leave for work without having done the washing-up. It is in piles round the kitchen. I didn't even have time to load the dishwasher...

Terrible.
