A right to have fun

nice weekend, lots of cheese

Yaay so Mr's brother in law is here and on Friday night we all had dinner together at our apartment. It was fun.

Then yesterday we went out shopping and then walked round the city and ended up stopping for a beer and I had a sandwich too and the brother in law kept missing us but finally called and we met up in the evening and bought TONS of cheese. He is obsessed with cheese and because he can't get half of the European unpasturized stuff in the States he always goes beserk and buys loads. So we had a total cheese and wine fest on Saturday night which was pretty good fun.

Then today we went to a big country house because it is free to get in to the gardens and we took a picnic in the car and that was cool. We weren't sure we were going to go because it was raining in the morning but then it cleared up. So we got out of the car with the food and it immediately started to rain! Anyway we took everything and headed for the trees because there were some benches under them and ate there. Except at the end it started to really pour and we got really wet, and so did the food. Well, mainly the cheese! It was great. All these people kept going past on hikes in their waterproof clothing and laughing at us. It was funny, we just kept laughing back. Who cares?! Anyway then we went for a quick walk in the gardens when the rain stopped, came back to town, went out to our fave restaurant ever, had amazing food and far too much to drink (for me and the brother in law; Mr is a good drinker, he can take it), came home late.

Spoke to my dad over the weekend, he was all 'so you will need the whole $1800 from me then?' Great. And then I got a cryptic email from my aunt saying she hoped things were looking up, so I guess something is meant to be happening, only it hasn't yet. Sigh.
